Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement

We believe differing perspectives are fundamental to learning and enrich our campus community.  Within an inclusive, supportive, and responsive environment, all members of a community have the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Therefore, LSUS intentionally offers a variety of programs, events, and activities designed to increase awareness, encourage critical thinking and enhance cultural competence. As a result, we hope a welcoming community emerges, one in which individuals broadened their awareness of differing perspectives and strengthened their abilities to engage with others, and share thoughts and ideas through civil discourse.
