The Institute for Nonprofit Administration & Research (INAR) was founded in 2001 to conduct research and disseminate knowledge about nonprofit organizations. INAR strives to elevate the future of the nonprofit sector through transformative education, impactful research, and professional development.

This international honor society was established by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council to recognize students dedicated to the study of nonprofit management, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship/enterprise. Its mission is to advance the study of nonprofit organizations and their function in society and to promote scholarly achievement among those who engage in these academic pursuits.

Nonprofit Administration Student Organization (NASO) is a student organization that focuses on volunteering and helping the community. We work together as a club to volunteer for nonprofits around the Shreveport-Bossier area. In addition to the student organization, students are eligible to earn their Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. This optional program is designed to prepare leaders in the nonprofit sector. Students may also earn a Minor in Nonprofit Administration and go on to complete the Masters in Nonprofit Administration. If you have a passion for giving back to the community and want to meet like-minded people, NASO is the organization for you!
