Admission Requirements for Adult and Non-Traditional Students

If you are a first-time freshman age 25 or older, you are not required to meet the Louisiana Board of Regents’ minimum admission criteria for freshmen. However, you must still meet standardized test score requirements for traditional first-time freshmen (ACT, SAT, or ACCUPLACER).

If you choose ACCUPLACER, you must pass both exams:

  • English
  • Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, & Statistics

You will also need to submit official high school transcripts or proof of high school graduation.

If you have been to college before, you will be considered a transfer student. Check out the transfer student requirements for more details
