Audit Opportunities
Auditing a class is a great way to learn about subject matter, test the waters of a degree program, or challenge yourself intellectually. If you wish to participate in a class without earning credit you can fill out an undergraduate admission application and indicate the audit option. You will also need to submit immunization records.
Unless the Admissions Office or the academic department informs you otherwise, you won’t need to submit any other official records, but you will be required to pay the same tuition and fees as a degree-seeking student.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
The Educational Enrichment Program (EEP)
The EEP is an undergraduate non-degree program where you can be admitted without records of your previous academic work if you are at least 25 years of age and have not been enrolled in either a high school, college, or university in at least 3 years.
If you are eligible and wish to enroll as an EEP student you will need to submit an application for admission, complete with immunization records to the Admissions Office at LSUS. You can take up to 9 hours during a fall or spring term and 6 hours during a summer term. You may not be eligible for financial aid or Veterans Administration benefits.
