Each year, LSUS students receive millions of dollars in scholarships, grants and other types of financial aid. Have questions about what opportunities you qualify for and how to apply? LSUS’ Financial Aid Office is here to guide you through each step of the process.

The Financial Aid Office administers LSUS scholarships, federal aid (including grants, loans and work study), State of Louisiana's Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) scholarships and the State of Louisiana Go Grant Program. Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA when attending Summer 2025

Complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA when attending Fall 2025, Spring 2026, Summer 2026 

Disbursement Dates for Credit-Balance Refunds 

Don’t forget to accept your financial aid before the start of EACH SEMESTER. You can do this approximately 2 weeks before the fee payment deadline each semester.  Login to myLSUS.  Go to Financial Aid > Financial Aid Acceptance > Accepted change No to Yes for the semester > Save Changes.  

 Credit-balance refunds are issued weekly after the semester/session census date.

14^th        Bookstore charges end for summer AP1/1C

15^th        Bookstore charges open for summer sessions 1 &1A

June 2025
