Merchandise Guidelines

Merchandise or promotional items ordered by internal units should be approved by the Media and Public Relations team via the PUR-522 form. Designs should strive to be readable and have good contrast from the surface of the item they are being printed on. Please reach out to Media and Public Relations if you have any questions about what logos or designs work well on merchandise.

External entities wishing to make merchandise with LSUS assets should abide by the LSUS trademark art sheet and guidelines, which you can find on the LSU Trademark Licensing page. Any logo or illustration included on this sheet should be used unaltered for merchandise.

Apparel Guidelines

Internal units making apparel should pick a shirt or wearable with a large amount of contrast between any text and the color of the apparel. This makes text easier to read. Internal units are welcome to reference the trademark art sheet or the color contrast guide on page 18 of the complete LSUS Brand Guidelines document or on the color guidelines webpage.

External units should follow the trademark art sheet about allowed color combinations and designs.
