SHREVEPORT – LSUS computer science students will display their innovative senior projects Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Cyber Collaboratory.
Four senior groups will present their projects, which include three apps and a shopping cart platform.
Industry partners, university faculty and staff and the community are invited to attend and engage with these seniors and their creations.
The app Pilot Hub is a shopping cart platform tailored to the unique needs of students.
The International App is a comprehensive website that assists international students with researching and applying to American universities.
The app Dish Atlas selects recipes based on a user’s dietary preferences.
The app Linked List is a scheduling tool that effortlessly integrates calendar and note-taking functions.
Throughout the development of these projects, students have used industry standard practices such as daily standups, monthly sprints and monthly retrospectives. Students have effectively managed their repositories by mastering git workflow and project management software.
"Our students have shown tremendous growth and dedication while working on these capstone projects," said LSUS computer science professor Keyvan Shahrdar. "We are excited to showcase their achievements and believe their work will make a lasting impression on our industry partners and the community."
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with potential job candidates as students will be prepared with their resumes and list of skills.
