Military Coining Ceremony

Active-duty military and veteran students who are graduating from LSUS are invited to the LSUS Military Coining Ceremony. Join us the Thursday before commencement to be presented with your LSUS Military coin and veteran honor cords. Event will feature a guest speaker, presentation of the coins, and breakfast at the Veterans Resource Center on campus. 

When: September 17, 2026 (check-in at 0945, ceremony starts at 1000 hours)
Where: LSUS Veterans Circle - 1 University Pl., Shreveport, LA 71115
Attire: Your appropriate military dress or business dress
